Council Meetings: Located at: 124 S Main Street and starts at 5:30 P.M. every first and third Monday of the month and end when city business is completed.  Please check the calendar of events below for possible time changes or cancellations for these meetings.

Residential Links: Mahnomen is the seat of Mahnomen County. It is a hub for trade, health, education and recreation for those within a 40-mile radius. It has an excellent Mahnomen hospital and clinic, the Mahnomen Health Center, and  Essentia Health on Main St.  The City has strong choices in education including; Mahnomen Public School offers Pre-Kindergarten - 12th; St. Michaels Catholic School offering Pre-school - 6 grade; and the recently completed White Earth Tribal and Community College.   It is also home to the Shooting Star Casino and Hotel with RV Parking and top quality headliner shows and entertainment bringing tourists from around the country like Canada, and we also boast a Mahnomen Country Club with a 9-hole Golf Course.
